Time

Be

Time waits for no one.

Time is a limited resource.

Once it’s spent you can’t get it back.

Money is a ruthless god.

It always subverts.

It always gets spent.

It may grow if you invest, but it never loves you back.

If you spend your time you will likely get a little bit of money.

If you spend your money, you’ll never be able to buy back time.

Working, stressing, or striving to always have more money will make you waste your time on the things that matter most.

Do

Here’s some ways to stop worrying about money and start living your life redeeming your time.

1. Be Present in the Here and Now. Stop thinking about tomorrow. Just live in the moment today. Be prepared, store up, but don’t let your storing keep you from living.

2. Give yourself permission to spend money on experiences. Time you can’t get back. But stuff just sits there. Invest in experiences with the ones you love so you can look back and remember all the good times you had.

3. Find a different god to worship other than money. Not trying to get religious on you, but you Are worshipping something. You are religiously worshipping something. Taylor swift. Bourbon. Concerts and night life. The weekend.

For a lot of us it’s probably money.

But there are other religious gods you and I bow at the altar of… achievement, success, fame, power, control, pride, sex, acknowledgement, family, whatever. Each of these things is good in its own respect in moderation, but, none of them satisfy like knowing Your Creator.

Redeem your time.

The Days are short.

Be here.

Now.
