Power

Be

There are forces at work outside of your control, outside of your power, outside of your ability to change. But that does not mean you have no say in creation of a future you desire.

Begin today with this truth:

“I am a powerful human being”

What? You don’t feel like it? Does that make it any less true?

Sure. You have your weaknesses. Don’t we all.

But focusing on your weaknesses, dwelling on the negative, and thinking less of yourself isn’t helpful.

You have power to change things in your life. The world around you is changing. It wants to change you into its own slave.

Don’t let it. Begin the journey of changing what’s within so that you can have an impact on what’s without.

You are a powerful human being. Embrace what you can do today.

Do

Three things you can do today to remind yourself of your power. Jon Gordon says,“Talk to yourself instead of listening to yourself.”

1. Repeat 10 times to yourself “I have more power to change myself than I realize. It’s time to get better. I am a powerful human being.”

2. Think of what you want to do today and write it down. Now write down three action steps that will bring you closer to that goal today. Be specific. Write it down

3. Now, looking at the path you’ve laid down for yourself, execute. Do the things. Act.

You have more power to change yourself than you realize. Discipline is the key to unlocking that which you want the most.

And don’t forget to trust God in the process.
